Silver and Bronze from the Youth Cup Final! The Doležals and Kyzlink with Šabata Brought Home Medals

Excellent Performances at the Youth Cup Final

Three Šitbořice pairs competed at the Youth Cup final in Olomouc and two of them made it to the podium. The most successful were Mikuláš and Vítek Doležal, who brought home silver medals from the tournament.

The Doležals Just Below the Top

The Doležal brothers dominated Group B with 12 points and a score of 24:5. In the semifinal, they defeated Liberec-Chrastava 5:1 and advanced to the final. There they faced Zlín-Prštné in a dramatic match that ended 2:2. The winner had to be decided by four-meter penalties, in which we unfortunately fell short and lost 2:3.

Bronze for Kyzlink with Šabata

Filip Kyzlink with Matěj Šabata confidently won Group A with a record of 12 points and a score of 22:4. In the semifinal, they lost to the eventual winners from Zlín-Prštné 3:4. However, in the battle for third place, they fought back and defeated Liberec-Chrastava 5:4, winning bronze medals.

Third Team in Eighth Place

Patrik Klein with Václav Mayer finished fourth in Group B. In the battle for 7th place, they lost to MILO Olomouc 2 and finished eighth.

The overall tournament winner was Sokol Zlín-Prštné 1 with the lineup Samsonek-Hobza. For our club, it was a very successful tournament with two podium finishes out of ten competing teams.
