Šitbořice youth players dominated the home South Moravian Regional Championship

The cycle ball players of TJ Sokol Šitbořice delivered a dominant performance at the home South Moravian Regional Youth Championship. Out of a total of six competing pairs, five were from Šitbořice, occupying all medal positions.

Golden result for Šabata and Kyzlink

The victory went to the pair Matěj Šabata and Filip Kyzlink (Šitbořice 1), who didn't lose a single point in the preliminary group A. In the final, they confirmed their favorite status in a match against their younger Šitbořice teammates Vítek and Mikuláš Doležal (Šitbořice 2).

Silver for the Doležal brothers

Second place was taken by brothers Vítek and Mikuláš Doležal, who finished second in the preliminary group with 3 points and fought their way through the semifinal to the final match.

Bronze for Meyer and Klain

Third place was won by the pair Václav Meyer and Patrik Klain (Šitbořice 3), who clearly dominated preliminary group B with a score of 11:1 and 6 points.

Another Šitbořice placement belonged to the pair Jan Franěk and Jan Konečný (Šitbořice 4) in fourth place. The only non-home cycle ball players in the final six were young competitors from SC Svitávka.

The home tournament thus confirmed the quality work of the Šitbořice club and the promising future of the young cycle ball players.
