Šitbořice cycle ball players took bronze in the top league

3rd place at the 2nd round of the Top League
Our elite pair Martin Drabálek and Robert Zvolánek delivered an excellent result at the second round of the Top League, which was hosted by Svitávka. After a series of balanced matches, they achieved an excellent third place in their debut season.
Our cycle ball players competed in a total of six matches, and the record of four wins, one draw and only one loss earned them 13 points. Zlín-Prštné also obtained the same number of points, finishing in second place thanks to a better goal difference.
They managed to win 9:3 against Favorit Brno. They also handled two teams from host Svitávka – they defeated the first 5:4 and the second 5:3, and beat Plzeň 6:2. They played a 3:3 draw with Zlín-Prštné. They suffered a more decisive defeat against the third Svitávka team, losing 3:10.
The tournament was dominated by Svitávka with the pair Hrdlička st. – Kripner, who gained 15 points. Silver was won by Zlín-Prštné.
The bronze position from the Top League is an excellent result for our club and confirmation of the growing performance of our best cycle ball players.
This year's Top League is really unusually balanced. The first 4 teams (including Šitbořice) share the same amount of nomination points. The battle for the Czech Championship and potentially also the World Championship is thus still open!
