Šitbořice junior pairs at the 2nd round of the 1st league in Svitávka

Second place for Nečas and Matušinec

The second round of the junior 1st league in cycle ball took place in Svitávka over the weekend, where Šitbořice was represented by two pairs. The best result was achieved by the combined formation consisting of Vojtěch Nečas and Matěj Matušinec from Šitbořice/Nezamyslice, who finished in an excellent second place.

Nečas and Matušinec had a great tournament – out of six matches they won four, drew one and lost only once. With an overall score of 34:5 and 15 points earned, they secured the silver position. The only defeat came in the final round against the tournament winners from Prštné.

The second Šitbořice pair Vítek Doležal and Matěj Šabata took fourth place. Despite a record of three wins and three losses, they delivered a balanced performance and with a score of 15:17 earned 9 points.

The tournament was dominated by the first pair from Sokol Zlín-Prštné (Baxa/Struhař) with a perfect record of six wins from six matches. The bronze position went to the second Prštné formation Buršík/Matras.

Overall, Šitbořice's performance in Svitávka can be evaluated very positively – the medal placement of the combined pair and the solid performance of the young duo Doležal/Šabata show the club's good form at the junior level.
