Šitbořice's number one team dominated the domestic U23 league

Excellent performance by the home cycle ball players

The second round of the U23 league brought outstanding results to Šitbořice. Our first pair Martin Konečný and Dominik Šabata built on their successful first round of the league, where they also won, and confirmed their excellent form on home ground. In four matches played, the Šitbořice cycle ball players collected the full 12 points and with an impressive score of 38:7 once again dominated the tournament. After two rounds, they are now well on their way to representing the Czech Republic at the European Championship.

The Konečný - Šabata pair found no conqueror and gradually defeated all opponents including strong Svitávka (5:1) and Zlín-Prštné (6:4). Their biggest victories were against Prima Nezamyslice (9:1) and against Chodsko (8:1).

The second Šitbořice pair Šimon Urbánek and Ondřej Valíček unfortunately did not participate in the tournament at all - they had to withdraw due to illness, as did Plzeň.

Overall, the tournament was dominated by our number one team ahead of Svitávka (11 points) and Nezamyslice (9 points).
