Šitbořice duo in bronze position in Prague league

Dominik Šabata and Šimon Urbánek won a valuable third place for Šitbořice at the second round of the Elite II league, which was held in the TJ Pankrác Praha hall.

The Šitbořice duo Sokol Šitbořice 2 delivered a solid performance and secured the bronze position among seven teams. The tournament was clearly dominated by pairs from Brno – first place went to Favorit Brno 2 (Fryčar, Rožník), followed by another Brno team Favorit Brno 4 (Burda, Kotulán).

Other tournament participants: MILO Olomouc finished fourth, fifth position was taken by the home team Lokomotiva Liberec, sixth was Pankrác Praha and seventh place went to MO Svitávka 4. All teams played six matches within the league round.

The podium finish for Šabata and Urbánek is a promising start to this year's Elite II league season.
