Šitbořice Fifth in Elite Extraliga in Zlín

The pair Martin Drabálek and Jan Havlíček from TJ Sokol Šitbořice finished in fifth place in the third round of the ŠKODA Extraliga, which took place in Zlín.

The Šitbořice team played six matches with a record of three wins and three losses. They defeated Favorit Brno (6:3), Zlín 2 (5:4) and MO Svitávka (7:3). However, they lost to Zlín 1 (3:11), SC Svitávka (5:8) and Nezamyslice (3:5). Overall, they scored 29 goals and conceded 34.

The tournament was won by the home team Sokol Zlín-Prštné 1 (Adam Radek, Tomáš Horák) with a record of five wins and only one loss. Silver went to Mlékárna Olešnice cykloklub Svitávka (Jiří Hrdlička ml., Roman Staněk), and bronze to Favorit Brno with Šitbořice native Robert Zvolánek.

During the tournament, Martin Drabálek received a yellow card for repeated fouls.
