Nečas and Šabata without points in Liberec

The junior pair from TJ Sokol Šitbořice unfortunately could not participate in the 2nd round of the 1st Junior League in Liberec. Vojtěch Nečas and Matěj Šabata had to withdraw from the tournament before it even started due to illness – the excuse was submitted on March 13th, two days before the tournament.

All matches were forfeited with a 0:5 result, which meant sharing last place without points and with a score of 0:25. The same fate befell Start Plzeň, who also did not show up for the tournament.

The tournament was clearly dominated by Sokol Zlín-Prštné 1 with the Baxa – Baxa pair, who won all six matches and showed a crushing offense with a score of 48:5. The second team from Zlín with Matras and Struhar also performed excellently, finishing second. Prima Nezamyslice placed third.

For the Šitbořice juniors it was bad luck – after an unsuccessful first round in Nezamyslice, they missed another chance to collect points in the league table.
