Young Šitbořice cycle ball players fought for valuable positions in the junior league

Šitbořice hosted the third round of the junior league

On Saturday, January 11, the 3rd round of the 1st junior league in cycle ball took place in the hall of TJ Sokol Šitbořice. The home club was represented by two pairs and both presented good performances in balanced competition.

The highest placed pair was Vojtěch Nečas and Matěj Matušinec, who started under the combined name Šitbořice/Nezamyslice. The cycle ball players won five out of six matches and with fifteen points took an excellent second place.

The second Šitbořice pair Vítek Doležal and Matěj Šabata finished in fifth place with five points. The young cycle ball players fought for one win and two draws, which is a solid result against more experienced competition.

The entire tournament was dominantly won by the pair from Prštné Richard Baxa and Kryštof Struhař, who won all six matches and gained the maximum 18 points.

The home tournament was a success, the Šitbořice cycle ball players showed quality performances and the second place of Nečas with Matušinec is an excellent result for the upcoming battles of the season.
