Konečný and Šabata dominated the U23 league tournament in Nezamyslice

The first round of the U23 cycle ball league, which took place in Nezamyslice, brought great success for TJ Sokol Šitbořice. The pair Martin Konečný and Dominik Šabata delivered an absolutely dominant performance and deservedly became the tournament winners.
The Šitbořice cycle ball players did not lose a single match and with a record of six wins from six matches, they earned the full 18 points. Their offensive strength was impressive – they scored 36 goals and conceded only 7 goals, which gave them a goal difference of +29. Among their most notable results were victories of 10:4 over Prima Nezamyslice and 9:3 over the second Šitbořice pair.
The second Šitbořice pair Šimon Urbánek and Ondřej Valíček performed solidly and finished in fifth place. With two wins and four losses, they earned 6 points and a goal difference of 26:40. Among their successes was a 5:0 victory over both weakened teams Start Plzeň and SK Chodov.
The silver position was taken by the pair from MO Svitávka (Petr David, Michal Musil) with five wins and 15 points. Bronze went to the cycle ball players from Zlín-Prštné (Baxa, Struhař) with four victories.
