Grand Prix Šitbořice 2026

Grand Prix Šitbořice is behind us — and honestly? In terms of organization, competition, and spectators, one of the best editions we can remember. We're still charged with energy. A brief summary 👇

🏆 Friday — Pramos Cup U20

Victory went to German Grosskoschen. Home colors were defended by two Šitbořice pairs — Matušinec/Nečas (4th) and Valíček/Urbánek (5th).

🏆 Saturday — Pramos Cup Youth

Germany celebrated again — this time Zscherben. But our boys showed we have something to build on! Šabata/Doležal fought for an excellent 2nd place, Doležal/Kyzlinek finished fourth.

🏆 Grand Prix Elite

And then came the main event. The atmosphere in the hall? Absolutely brutal. This year's TOP 3 team from Germany, the 2nd best team from Switzerland, Czech elite from Zlín, and two home pairs.

Konečný/Šabata in 6th place definitely didn't disappoint — getting draws with Šitbořice 1 and Zlín is a huge success for them.

But the biggest bombshell? Home team Šitbořice 1 — Martin Drabálek & Robert Zvolánek — WON the entire tournament! After a tie on points with Zlín, a half-time was played for 1st place and in the last second Drabálek decided it 4:3. We couldn't have wished for a better ending to the weekend. 🙏 We thank the spectators for the incredible atmosphere. The foreign teams that made the journey — the guys from Mosnang traveled 800 km. And especially the dozens of organizers and volunteers, without whom this wouldn't be possible. Everyone knows what to do, and thanks to that we can host the elite from all over Europe in our gym.
