Bronze in the Final Round of the 2nd Elite League for Šabata and Zahálka

Sokol Šitbořice 2 concluded the 2nd Elite League season with third place in the final 3rd round, which took place on November 15th in Brno. Dominik Šabata competed this time with new teammate Filip Zahálka and together they secured the bronze position with 13 points and a score of 28:10.

The team recorded 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Even with the change in the team, Šitbořice maintained competitiveness and scoring productivity – 28 goals in the tournament speak clearly. The defense also functioned solidly with only 10 goals conceded.

Victory in the tournament was shared by two teams with 15 points. Spartak Přerov took first place and Favorit Brno 3 finished second. Both teams thus beat our pair by two points.

For Filip Zahálka it was an opportunity to show himself in the higher competition alongside experienced Dominik Šabata. The cooperation of the new pair worked better than expected and the bronze from the last round is a solid result.

Overall, the 2nd Elite League season can be evaluated positively – victory in the 2nd round and bronze in the final round show that Šitbořice cycle ball has a firm place in this competition.
